Dr. Yassir Sonbol attended the Indiana University School of Medicine. He graduated in 2001. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine, Fellowship in General Cardiology, and Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Minnesota. He served as Chief Resident in 2004 at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Sonbol is a member of the American College of Cardiology. His interests include both General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. In particular, he enjoys treating Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Valvular Heart Disease and patients with heart rhythm abnormalities.
Prior to moving to the Houston area, Dr. Sonbol was living in Minnesota. He currently lives in the Richmond area with his wife and newborn son. He is very excited to be a part of the community.
During his spare time he enjoys traveling, exercising, sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is currently accepting new patients and will accommodate same day appointments.
